Happy New Year to all our lovely performers! It is so exciting to be writing to you again; today’s blog is all about our incredible holiday camps, and in particular a recap on our recent Christmas Holiday Camp.
From all of us at The Performance Studios, we hope you had a well-rested Christmas break, and we hope that our enthusiastic students are ready for the spring term ahead.
Lots of our amazing students joined us for our Christmas Holiday Camp, where not only did they work on their singing technique, acting skills, and dancing abilities- but they got well into the Christmas spirit. Performing a routine to ‘Bring me love’ by John Legend, singing ‘Let it Snow, let it snow, let it snow’ by Dean Martin and ‘Have yourself a merry little Christmas’ by Judy Garland a cappella while also script-writing and devising scenes together! The kids got well into the festive spirit, and the atmosphere was, as always, full of enthusiasm. Even our families got involved this year with a classic Christmas song quiz with prizes. Huge congrats to our winners!
At the end of the week, the children discussed their highlights; one of which said it was ‘performing with other classes/having a chance to make friends from other classes’. It was also great to watch all the children’s hard work pay off during their performance to their families on Friday, all of the kids were incredible. It is so magical to see the kids getting into the performance zone and to see them shine like the stars they are.
We love putting on our holiday camps and have already started planning for our next one during February half term- we would love to have you join us. To book on please contact Miss Ciara on: [email protected]
Thank you to our TPS team, and our fantastic students for your support in making these holiday camps happen. Our team, especially Miss Ciara, have been working hard over the Christmas break, and we are all so excited for you to find out what’s in store for this term.
We are excited for what’s in store for 2023, and we hope you are too!
