Do I stay with my child during the classes?
You are welcome to stay in our foyer during classes, however we’ve found that children tend to settle in class more when parents leave them to become fully engrossed under the stage lights. Should you wish to stay, we can provide refreshments in our waiting area.
When do classes run throughout the year?
Our classes run during term time, however, if your child loves performing and wants to do extra activities during the holidays we also provide optional holiday schools. All term time information can be found on our term dates page.
Where can I park?
There is a pay and display car park opposite the Moor Space building, if that one is full there is also another pay and display car park to the right of the building on St Edward street.
Do I have to sign a contract when I join?
As part of your TPS membership you are not tied to any contract upon joining, however, as part of our enrolment process, we ask you to read and agree to our full terms and conditions.
Do you do any performances?
We aren’t called The Performance Studios for nothing! It’s important for us that children have the opportunity to showcase their work, so, throughout the year we participate in community performances, awards nights and we finish on a high with our end of year show. These are all optional for students but are highly recommended as they increase their confidence.
How do I order uniform?
All uniform is personalised for each individual student. Both a t-shirt and leggings/jogging bottoms are compulsory, the rest of the uniform is optional. We’d recommend your child tries on our samples sizes first before choosing their personalised initials. Once you are ready to order, you can order through our uniform page on our website. Remember to add your personalised initials before completing your order.
