Terms & Conditions

This agreement sets out the terms and conditions that will govern the relationship between us, The Performance Studios (TPS) and you, the Parent/Guardian. It is a legally binding agreement. The conditions listed are important to ensure we maintain consistency and to ensure all members gain the maximum benefit from their membership with us. By holding a membership with TPS you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Any taster/trial session is strictly at the approval of the Head of School, subject to availability and does not guarantee a place at TPS.
  • We reserve the right to revert to online sessions, for any enforced closures outside of our control. This includes, but not limited to, national and localised shutdown due to weather, pandemic, venue availability and lockdowns. Where our school(s) are running physical face- to-face sessions or a combination of in-person and virtual sessions, the standard monthly fee applies and will be payable via our Class4Kids system. Where a school is operating virtually for a period of nine or more consecutive weeks, a reduced monthly fee will then apply in this instance.
  • To avoid the disruption of classes, you and your child are requested to arrive in good time. If in the instance that you are late and arrive once classes have started, we will try to accommodate this but ask that you inform the Head of School in advance.
  • All children enrolled at TPS are expected to wear their TPS t-shirt and leggings/jogging bottoms. If your child is yet to receive uniform, we ask that they wear loose and comfortable clothing for the purposes of health and safety. Further, children are expected to wear appropriate footwear (trainers/dance shoes) to prevent any injuries when working physically at the studios.
  • In the event that your child is unable to attend a scheduled TPS session, due to sickness (subject to the clause below), holiday, government restrictions or a decision by the Parent or Student not to attend, TPS is unable to offer any refund of fees paid or make up the missed session.
  • We will suspend membership during the minimum membership period in the event that a child at TPS is unable to attend classes for more than one month due to his or her injury or illness. In the unfortunate event that medically it is not possible for a child to attend TPS classes we will cancel the minimum membership period without any further obligation to you.
  • In the event that you do not pay membership fee payments on time (1st of each month), additional charges will apply.
  • In the event that you do not pay membership fee payments when due, the right to send a child to attend TPS will be withdrawn until payment is received and brought up to date. If your account falls into arrears on more than three occasions during any one calendar year, we reserve the right to terminate your membership with immediate effect.
  • Memberships operate on a rolling basis. If you wish to cancel your membership with us, we ask for one month’s notice of cancellation (in writing), and one month’s payment after the date of cancellation.
  • We may terminate your membership and discontinue the child’s entitlement to attend TPS in the event of serious or repeated breach of these membership terms.
  • Payment is due on the first of each month. Payment must be made via our Class4Kids system. If payment of membership fees is not made in full for any reason, we reserve the right to suspend your membership and to exclude your child from attending TPS.
  • This agreement may be terminated if either party is in serious breach of its obligations to the other in line with TPS’ overarching policies.
  • We reserve the right to use any individual or group photographs of your child for our marketing channels and promotional purposes in line with TPS’ Photographic Consent and Release Waiver. Should you wish to opt your child out of this we ask that you communicate this to the Head of School.
  • You and your children are expected to treat all TPS members, children, staff and teachers with respect and consideration. TPS does not tolerate rude, offensive, or aggressive remarks and behaviour in any way.
  • We reserve the right to make changes to the terms listed.
