christmas at the studios…

31 December 2023

Happy December to all of our TPS family. We hope you have had a well-deserved break! We have had such a busy December month at TPS, and it has been so lovely to see our young performers blossoming.

As a quick summary, we have welcomed new eager performers at both of our branches, and we have also said hello to some new inspiring tutors! We have had a Christmas jumper day, and it was so awesome seeing everybody’s Christmas jumpers, from Elf, to Frozen- as well as having some reindeers coming to join us! At our Lancaster branch our performers showed off their talent and their confidence at the Lancaster Christmas Light Switch On, singing Sparkle and Shine, and Let it Snow.  We have also had one of our Minis performing as Tiny Tim at the Dukes (we are so proud of him!).

Most recently, we had our Christmas Workshop, where everyone had so much fun! We had a visit from a cheerful and mischievous elf, where everyone got to write letters to Santa- I hope they got their wishes! There was lots of Christmas spirit, glitter and laughter, filling the room with joy and festive cheer. We also did an obstacle course with the jolly Elf, which really tested our Christmas coordination, and added even more excitement into the room!

Throughout the day there were plenty of games, as well as heart-warming singing and energetic dancing to our favourite festive tunes. The atmosphere was booming, and everybody seemed to love the new Cher song ‘DJ Play a Christmas Song’.

After saying goodbye to our elf, we continued the festivities with a cosy Christmas movie night. Did you see all of the blanket forts on our social media? We decided to watch the holiday classic ‘The Grinch’. As the movie began, we sipped on hot chocolates and munched on mince pies.

The room was full of joy and laughter by both familiar and new faces. Memories were created that we will cherish. We already cannot wait for our next movie night already and to be able to share more magical moments with you all!

As we end the year, we want to express our thanks for being a part of the TPS Family. We hope you have a lovely break, and a happy New Year. We cannot wait to be back with you in the studios again real soon.

Love from all of us at The Performance Studios 🙂
