With the summer holidays just around the corner, I thought I would do a blog post about the amazing shows that are on in local areas and touring at the moment to give you some inspiration for your summer holidays!
From 19th July to August 25th, there is ‘Alice in Wonderland’ – The Dukes Play in the Park. This show promises to be a family friendly immersive experience where the only limit is your imagination. I know I’ll be securing my tickets for sure! You can get yours here … Alice in Wonderland › The Dukes
Saturday 6th July at Lancaster Grand Theatre, for any big ABBA fans like Miss Amy there is an ABBA tribute act ‘Thank ABBA For The Music’ promising an evening of fun, fabulous music and even encouraged 70’s fancy dress. Maybe I’ll see some of you dancing queens there…

For those of you Adele lovers there’s an Adele Tribute act ‘Hometown Glory’ taking place on Friday 12 July also at the Lancaster Grand Theatre, the performance promises to leave you warm inside, and won’t be a night you forget in a hurry!

If you’re wanting to go a little further a field performers why not take a trip into Manchester and grab tickets to see:
- Aladdin at Manchester Palace Theatre, Thursday 27th June – Sunday 7th July, and I know all you performers will already know the songs from how much we perform them in classes Disney’s Aladdin – ManchesterTheatres.com
- Hairspray the Musical at Manchester Palace Theatre, Tuesday 16th July to 27th July. But of course performers, I couldn’t do a blog post about summer plans and show visits without mentioning the biggest and most important summer show of all…
The TPS BIG SUMMER SHOW!
Our summer show titled ‘The 80s Club’ promises to be a rewind of the clock promising to take you back in time and evoke those feelings of nostalgia and fun!
With scenes from your favourite 80s films, the best 80s dance moves and those 80s tracks you just LOVE to belt out in your car, we have it all!
