Hey there performers I hope you’re all doing well,
Today’s blog will be particularly interesting for those of you who always ask and want to know what the tutors get up to within the week, so keep on reading as I tell you.
During the week Miss Amy & Miss Ciara would go to St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School in Lancaster and deliver our usual TPS standard sessions as an afterschool drama club for the students of St Bernadette’s, and I can proudly report after they performed their showcase just a couple of weeks ago it has been a HUGE success! All of the students shone in their performance and we couldn’t have been any prouder.
They got to perform show pieces from hit movie musicals such as; ‘Matilda’ and ‘High School Musical’ it was so well received that even the Headteacher Mrs Shoulder was in tears!
Miss Amy & Miss Ciará then received two very special headteachers awards given to us by the students we taught. And we’re kindly invited back to run our drama clubs in September too!
We are so lucky that we get to teach and share the love of performing arts around so many students.
